Maria Caballer Tarazona holds a PhD in Economics and is currently an Associate Professor in the Quantitative Methods Unit within the Applied Economics Department. She has also been a research fellow at the University of Bologna (Italy) and the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Although her research has primarily focused on applied quantitative methods in health economics, culture, and education, she participates in multidisciplinary projects where qualitative and quantitative approaches complement each other. Gender issues are also addressed as a cross-cutting dimension in her research.
